Master class «WE DRAW PORTRAIT OF A WRITER BY PASTEL» of an artist Raisa Arefyeva took place on January 8, 2017 at the exhibition «History of the Russian State in Persons» of the art project «Portrait of the Russian Fine Word» in the museum «Preodoleniye» named after N.A. Ostrovsky.

Poet Anatoly Gennadievich Apostolov, academician of International Kirillo-Mefodiyev Academy of Slavic Education, author of novels «Knyazh-Pogost» («Reign-Churchyard») and «Dom Razbityh Zerkal» («House of Broken Mirrors»)  posed at the master class.

At the end of the master class the author's literary soiree of Anatoly Gennadievich Apostolov took place. The following persons took part in the literary soiree: poet, writer and public figure Mikhail Friedman, writers Alexander Lofichenko and Boris Vilensky, many others.

The program of master classes developed in the summer of 2016 by the head of the art project "Portrait of the Russian Fine Word" Margarita Siourina was arranged for a wide audience, Bothe professionals and beginners participated in master classes. One of the purposes of this program is stimulation and promoting of art creativity.

An opportunity to get acquainted closer with model at the author's literary soiree following a drawing session – allows to know and feel better modern domestic literature – not abstractedly, but at a very deep personal level of perception.
