Marina Arabchikova will mediate presentation prepared by Heliy Korzhev’s Fund. She will tell about creative work of Heliy Mikhailovich Korzhev, outstanding Russian painter, about the Korzhev-Chuvelevs, about creative activities of sculptor Ivan Korzhev.
The talk on Heliy Korzhev’s work held within Art Project «THE PORTRAIT OF RUSSIAN FINE WORD» at exhibition «WAR AND PEACE» is literally a gift of God (or of Heavens) for the participants and regular guests of our exhibitions.
Indeed, Heliy Mikhailovich Korzhev devoted all his creative life to this particular dialectics; his works are full with it – from portraits of the Great Patriotic War or civil war times to the images coming from the Scripture and everyday life.

It is nice to see Ivan Korzhev taking part in our Project; his creative destiny confirms not only intergenerational continuity, continuityof traditions of famous artistic family, but the feeling well known to every artist – talent comes first. And if the talent is given by God, so there comes an Artist – no matter whether it happens in the tenth generation of a family, or without any family traditions whatsoever.
On the 26th of September, it must be very very interesting at exhibition «WAR AND PEACE». Don’t miss the event spending weekends around your summer cottages…
